The AC line- represents the Ascendant axis on the natal chart. The Horizon at our birth. This is your personality, your relationship with yourself, your ego, and your identity. The 1st impression you give others.

The IC line- represents the Imum coeli axis, the lowest point of our chart. This is our home, our family, our roots and what grounds us, and our ancestors. These are the things we hold private. 

The DC line- represents the Descendant axis. This is our relationship with others. How we negotiate our time in a one on one relationships, whether love or business. It is how we depend on others and they depend on us.

The MC line is the Medium Coeli or Midheaven axis. This is the highest point of our chart and how we are seen by others. Our status in the world, public image, and our career. 

The Sun is our identity, our ego, and what we take pride in. It drives our purpose. It is where our light shines. The Sun can shine light on an area of life that makes us happy. It is also represents the father figure. 

 Sun Line: This is a great line to live on to bring the focus on you and your achievements. Living on a Sun line can bring fulfillment and happiness in an area of the chart it resides. The Sun brings purpose to a career along with recognition.  Avoid East of the AC line, the 12th house of things that are hidden. In this case, you are hiding your light. Where as West of the AC line, you shine in all areas of life. Your whole identity has purpose. People will be drawn to you.  With the IC line, west, the suns rays shine on the home and family, while east sheds light on careers in writing, communicating, socializing with neighbors. For the DC line being west will encourage love or business relationships, while living east will bring purpose to serving others, health, and work. Common in medical professions. West of the MC line is your public image and career. The sun brings purpose and recognition to your achievements in this area. This is the best place to live for career growth. If you live east of the MC line, your purpose will be toward higher education, philosophy, law, and spirituality. This is a great place to live while in school or studying.  Downside of the Sun, becare of becoming arrogant, conceited, or selfish.

The moon represents the mother figure. It represents our emotions and what we value. What fulfills us. It is how we care for others and want to be cared for in return. It rules us through our feelings. What emotionally drives us. Place the moon carefully.

Moon line: This is a great line for a sense of belonging, caring for others, emotional awareness, and finding fulfillment in what we do.  On the West AC or DC we may find ourselves too needy or caring for others. East DC and West MC we find ourselves devoted to work and in service related careers.  IC and MC east we value learning, communication, and those around us near and far. And IC west we are value our family and home.  This is the place we fall in love with. The moons downside, areas we lose our boundaries with taking care of others, and areas we are moody or irrational. 

Mercury embodies how we communicate, think, and create. Whether that is through writing, speaking, song, or art. It is how we mental process ideas and thoughts and communicate them to the world. It is how we learn and intellectualize information. How we process our senses. 

Mercury line: This is a great line for writers, artists, and students. Any place you want to be with like minded people. From being social, or creating projects to communicating your deepest ideas. Any of the lines work well, depending on your focus.

Venus is the planet of what  or who we are attracted to and what makes us attractive. It represents women. It is love, beauty, luxury, material goods, and pleasure. It can show us how we can create income, or where our sources of income come from. It shows us what we like to spend that income on. Venus is love and romance. 

Venus line: This is a great line for enjoying life, making and spending money, and finding and attracting love.  In general this is a great planet to place for retirement, marriage, or career. West of the AC and MC people will find you beautiful. Also your way of making income can be through aesthetics, design, creating beauty.  With West IC one would focus on beauty or income from the home, real estate, or working from home. This is also a location you will love. East IC would be income with writing, communication, or a general love for one's neighbors. East of MC income through travel, spirituality, or teaching. Finding love in a foreign land or with a foreigner. West of the DC Venus would be in the house of relationships. Finding a partner and romance would be a strong possibility. While East of DC would be love of service, work, or making a career from a service industry.  East of AC your beauty, what you love, and income are unseen or hidden from view. Scandalous affairs and issues with women are possible. In general, close to any line one should be careful, as it can make you a tad gluttonous and prone to overspending. 

Jupiter is the energy of abundance.The planet of opportunity and good luck. It is wisdom, philosophy, the law. It expands any other energy around it (keep away from malefic planets!) There is exuberant optimism with this energy and an abundance of joy. It is also the planet of legal matters, honor, and morality. 

Jupiter line: This is a great line for everything in life. It can bring great joy to area of life. It can give opportunities that increase growth in your career, home, relationships. The downside is that abundance can add a few pounds to the waist line as well as your wallet. There can be blind optimism that is not backed up by reality. If not well aspected can bring an abundance of problems.

Neptune is the planet of intuition, spiritual enlightenment, and dreams. It is a lovely energy of delusions and illusions. You have one foot on Earth, and the other foot in the cosmos. Psychic abilities. It is inspiration. If you can dream it, you can bring it to reality. As long as you can remember to stay grounded. 

Neptune line: This energy is great for spiritual practices, psychics, intuitives, artists, and creative projects. The downside is it can be areas of deceit, delusion, gullibility, and addiction.

Mars is the warrior energy. It is passion, bold action, impatience, and energy. It is a great for vitality of life, athletes, and pursuing careers. Be careful of too much aggression, violence, or injury. 

Mars line: Mars is a malefic planet. It can be helpful for taking action, increasing energy, athletes, or competitive jobs and projects. Placement of this planet should be strategic and careful with attention paid to any harsh spects. It can bring motivation, energy, and passion to your life if in the West AC or West MC. It can bring fruition to projects in the East IC, DC, or MC. Athletes will do best with East DC and West AC. I strongly recommend not living on the West DC, West IC, or East AC. With Mars in houses of relationships (4,7) there can be increased arguing, fights, or possibly violence. With Mars in the 12th house, you will have lack of energy or hidden aggression. 

Saturn is the energy of limitations and structure. This energy will slow you down to focus and be disciplined to get a job done.  It is serious and determined. It also can bring hardships and restrictions on its way to bringing you stability.  

Saturn line: This line is great for serious relationships and career focus, The West DC and MC. Keep out of the 2nd house to prevent financial hardship.  West of the AC, the person becomes focused on their life. East DC and IC, West and East MC they become disciplined and focus in education, writing, career, and work. East MC can also be limitations with travel, cultures, and the law. So be cautious with this placement. As well as East IC having difficulties with languages, neighbors, and meshing with society. 

Uranus is the energy of sudden change, revolutions, and innovations. This is your genius and your madness. This is technology and rebellion. Uranus gives us new ideas, is gets tired of stagnation. It is restless. It needs freedom to breathe to be an original. To be quirky.  It is impulsive and drastic. A revolution, a rebellion, or even a natural disaster. Issues with authority. It can be things beyond our control. Sudden losses or gains. 

Uranus line:  If you want to be eccentric with freedom and ready for the unexpected, this is your line.  People can see you as a genius or just weird. A great place for careers in technology or future forward thinking.  On DC line east and west, caution. West- relationships are untraditional, or infidelity possible. East- job changes, or health issues. Beware of accidents, disasters, or sudden losses.  Do not put in an angular house if you have harsh aspects.

Pluto is where your power lies. It is death and transformation. This is power, obsession, and control. Pluto will destroy everything you love and rebuild you like a phoenix rising from the ashes. It is not for the faint of heart. 

Pluto line: It is a line for facing past trauma and insecurities.  It is the line of "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger". Best case scenarios, West AC line- you are magnetic, transformative personality. People either love you or hate you.  On the West MC, people see you as powerful, magnetic, controlling, or manipulative. Possible issues with authority. Your careers may end and you rebuild from scratch stronger than before. On the west DC line, relationships become obsessive, controlling, and have power dynamic issues. On the west IC line, there are home/family dynamics of possible violence or repetitive turmoil.  East DC, there is a potential for illness or obsession with health. East of AC there can be hidden mental issues, depression, obsession ,and control issues. There is a karmic nature to pluto to bring crisis to an area of your life to force you resolve your emotional pain. Unless you are ready for intense shadow work at the universes control, do not advise living on this line for long periods, and visit in small doses. 

Chiron is the wounded healer. This is the energy of your childhood or past life trauma. When you go to this line, the energy focuses on healing, transformation, and using your experience of pain to create art or help others. This would be a line where you would be drawn to if you were an artist, writer, social worker, or healthcare worker. 

The North node is your soul's purpose, or destiny line. This line will push your boundaries to move you forward on your life's path. It can bring you in contact with people or situations that provide opportunities that are fated. It can push you out of your comfort zone. It can also represent the aspect of life you need more experience in. What you are uncomfortable with, but can improve verses the south node of your natural gifts, comfort zone, or karma.
